This is what you call a fun drum solo.
Laibach plus Depeche.
Who was the support band? Mass of Jews?
Messengers
❤🎸
Grandiose
Only here because I saw a massive bag of Typhoo tea at B&M today😂
masterpiece absolutely
Saw them 3 times back in the early 80s , brilliant every time , this song is brilliant live as is visions in blue and my favourite New European , RIP Chris.
RIP Chris Cross, you were part of an amazing & incredible quartet …..
CHRIS CROSS ON BASS GUITAH FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🫂💜💜💜
❤
Chris Cross... what a bass line... rip...😓
The ending... can't get enough of it.
Them beating the crap out of those drum pads is the best!
Rest in peace Chris you were the glue that kept this band together.
Chris cross on bass guitar❤
RIP Chris...
Brilliant and very funny ❗
i was 14 yrs old when i bought this on vinal. i am 58 yrs old now. i think my friend has it his attack. i left it there with many more in England 20 yrs ago lol
I remember being up front in the Hammersmith odeon the atmosphere was electric
Relevant today as ever, musicians with a smile on the face just smashing it, remember borrowing video off a friend this blew me away, what a sound
8 maids are milking the slight pause before the impending doom 🤣😂
bloody wonderful, thank you uploader <3
cant remember his name but the geezer actually cut his head filming this,, dedication indeed <3 gene wilder lookalike benny xD
Lenny Bennett
@@beccalex That's the one, Thank you, now i gotta watch it again
😂😂
This is in my top 5 tunes of all time. I listen to this in my truck, full volume, every day. Awesome.
When music was written and conceived in dad’s garage. £uk you Simon Cowell, you literally killed all music invention and creativity!
back when you had to be able to sing and play instruments well to make music and write masterpieces like this
You think there aren't bands today that sing and play instruments well...? I know there's a lot of manufactured crap these days, but there was then too. Don't be silly.
Masterpiece
Awesome. Saw live 1982 & 2009 at Manchester Apollo. Still sounds amazing & the drum finale brilliant. Never ceases to capture every emotion possible. Never want it to end so keep seeing again & again ❤❤
Bestial al más no poder,de toda la vida
Look at Warren go!!! LOVE his talent.
@Mark Simmons your Ultravox videos are outstanding. I watch this one again & again for the brilliance of Warren Can & the boys jumping in to drum at the end…..
Моя любимая пестня
Loved Frankie and Cuddly Ken.
So ahead of his time
monumental
The final at the drums ! What a time to be alive !
Quel super concert au casino de paris, j'avais acheté la cassette pour ma voiture, j'ecoutais The voice à fond..
Billie Carrie’s flipping prog rock level synth solo. Amazing.
I never appreciated the bass playing that much when I first got into Ultravox forty years ago, but Chris Cross was flipping superb.
My favourite part has always been 0.24: "Who are these??!!!" From a time when ads could be funny and everyone enjoyed them for what they were, without getting offended by the slightest and usually imagined issues. God only knows what the woke brigade of 2023 would make of this now. Bring back Frankie....if only we could. 😢
the original blue man group
Probably one of the finest endings to any song ever produced in music history
LOL.
i was at this gig at Hammersmith, amazing stuff
Their best I think
1982
Midge very much underrated
This is a powerful song!
I'm might wrong but it seems monument live so it 82 Anyway thanks for upload, always come here to see that drum outro
Powerfull Ultravox The Voice ist mehr als genial. Top Live Performance. Sensationell
The Symbol song of new wave.
The electronic drum finale is awesome, I also love the band's phase with John Foxx when they were almost punk
This is Live at The Opera House,1983 , it was an amazing performance live by Ultravox,on top of their game , I and my mate keV Yeo was in the Dress Circle , again, incredible,THAT BASS !!!?
